2.5 Alarm setup

2.5.1 Alarm port connection figure

The alarm terminal input block, loacted at the back of the DVR (shown below):

Alarm In:

 Alarm Channel: Choose the alarm channel

 Sensor Type: Depending on your alarm you can select either ‘Normal Open’ or

‘Normal Close’.

 Record: Setup which channel to record to if an alarm ia activated.

 Alarm Out: Select the alarm output channel on the back panel.

 Buzzer: Control the Buzzer settings if an alarm is activated .

 Action PTZ: When an alarm is activated, the DVR can quickly move a PTZ camera

moving to preset position. You must set up the preset position within the PTZ setup

menu before this can work.

 Disp-Video: Setup the video pop-up channel, which is displayed on the main screen if

an alarm is activated.

 Event Duration: Setup the alarm duration time.
